Kay Beaubien
Kay is predominately
a self-taught artist who has made a living doing art in
one capacity or another for nearly 30 years. "Painting is
my passion, it challenges me constantly and is what I look
forward to doing everyday."
The billiard art started about 5 years
ago when a commission from a nephew resulted in "Shootout
in Sedona". Married to an avid pool player who built his
house around the "game room" the ideas for more paintings
flourished. "The activity on the table relates to the locations.
Randy is the expert for setting up the shots and I insist
on traveling to some rather remote areas to research the
settings, which, fortunately, the whole family happens to
enjoy.
The hope is to share the energy and
whimsy of these preposterous ideas that have given a new
view to the game of billiards.
